Do you ever use QR codes in your marketing?

QR codes are pretty useful but they are not at all the end all be all. Overall good though

Aloha Georgie - I remember when QR codes made an entrance with a bit of fanfare but seemed to fall out of favor.  And then they came back.  Will time tell us more?  Let's see.

Hello Georgie, I use to use it but have not for the last couple of years.  I know it is still a marketing tool we should use.

I have used QR codes. They can help the most when attached to your signs (as buyers drive through neighborhoods).

Since we generally can't hang signs- I can't use QR codes in that way. I am working to launch at podcast on my submarkets (Upper Manhattan rather than all of NYC which is what all the other brokers are doing) in the next month or so- and will have a postcard campaign with a QR Code for the 1st time announcing the launch.  I don't know how many people are familiar enough with QR codes- but I think it shouldn't be a problem since so many restaurants started using QR codes rather than passing out menus since the begining of covid.

Hi Georgie- I agree with Michael Jacobs they came in strong and then seemed to fall away. During Covid, restaurants used them to hold their menus. I used to have one on the back of my business card (a long time ago) that led the viewer to my before and after photos of stagings.

The company I used to work for made us use QR codes before people really knew what they were for Georgie. I think I will begin to try them again after reading this post 😎

Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089 - I got on the QR Code bandwagon when it was still fairly new and had zero luck. Paid a small fortune with signs using the QR Code and decided it wasn't cost effective for me. I don't really know anyone who uses them in my area anymore. 

I'm sure there have been improvements with QR Codes but I'm not willing to take the risk again. If I could take risks, I'd be on a plane knocking on your door or calling you on the phone in Hawaii asking you if you want to hang out on the beach with me and have lunch too!

I use them on all my recent listings.  When the first QR codes came out, I started using them but having an app to open them up was just too cumbersome.  So I stopped using them. I picked back up during COVID because the process became much easier, and just about everyone knows how to open the link from the QRC. It is a good tool.
