Well it looks like the Lake Chatuge lake levels have peaked for this year. The lake peaked back in May right around the 1925 elevation. We are currently as of 7/1/08 at the 1922.7 elevation. We never did make it to the full pool elevation of 1926 this year. I guess we should not complain to much. We are doing a lot better than last year. At this time last year we were at the 1920 mark. TVA has been trying to keep as much water as they can in the lakes. Thankfully they started filling them up earlier this year. The lake has been great this year. Not near as many boats and jet skies running around this year. I guess with the way gas prices are right now more people are dropping anchors in coves instead of just running around.
