Where Does Your Business Come From?

Do you ask new clients how they found you?    With so many different social media platforms out there, the public has many areas in which to find you!

Here are a few places the public can find me -

~ Twitter

~ YouTube

~ Different designation sites (mostly REALTORS find us there)

~ NextDoor

~ At an open house

~ Realtor Referrals

~ And last, by word of mouth

 

The best way is when a past client gives out a rave review to a colleague, friend or family member.   These potential clients already have a good feeling before even meeting!

Referrals especially solid ones are like gold. For me I secure most of my business through referrals as well as my "directional signs." This weekend for two new listings, I placed 4 directional signs for one listing and three for another.

Hi Joan,
I've been out of the active market for 11 years now. There wasn't such a heavy emphasis on social media at that time which gave me more time to focus on more limited outlets. I had such great SEO that I received a lot of new business from my website and blogs and, of course, referrals and repeat business.  Now I'm doing the referring in retirement. ☺️

Leanne Smith I used to get sign calls, but think most buyers are getting more savvy, and securing their own Buyer's Agent.  Glad those directional signs work for you.

Here is where understanding the buyers market comes into play. Most of my clients wants to meet me first and then we decide if we can work together. Respective to vacant land, the majority of my clients have been from signs or directional signs as people drive around our very rural area.

Carol Williams I am seeing fewer people signing up on my site over the last couple of years.    With my clients being content staying where they are, business has been slower, so had to expand my reach.
