Special Relationships Made Via Real Estate Last Forever

I recently had some communication, and a surprise visit, from a past client I hadn’t seen in 30 years. He found a post I had recently written on Facebook and reached out to me via text.

He’s into politics now with the Republican party. I suggested he bring signs with him, and I’d help him plant them in my neighborhood.

He and his wife both visited. What a great reunion after being out of touch for decades. I was the agent who listed their first home and sold them the home they are still occupying and love. Their two babies are now very successful, well educated, adults.

Special relationships made via real estate transactions are long lasting. This is a simple example of how people who establish a close connection, with trust and confidence, never miss a beat even after decades have gone by.

Just another quick thought for the moment ….

Coaches do not teach this side to real estate, the golden rule works every day, all the time.  Treat people how you would like to be treated, and you can be sure they will be friends for life.

Hello Barbara - real estate can certainly be an introduction to many relationships.  Some lasting long after a transaction ends.

Good morning, Barbara.
Yes, indeed, those long-term relationships from real estate go beyond our working days, don't they?  So glad you enjoyed your visit. We love hearing from you!

You made quite an impression to be remembered 30 years later.   A reunion of that nature is inspirational.  The last couple of years I started saying my clients are my friends or friends to be.  Since adopting that philosophy, it has been true.

Your words bring back probably my most favorite quote "No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care." This quote is probably the foundation for many long term relationships. Thanks for sharing Barbara Todaro
