Happy Heavenly Birthday Mom!

This photo sat on a dresser at the top of the stairs by our bedrooms. I always took it for granted sitting there...funny what we remember.

My sister and I shared a room (I know, that's unheard of now...right?) and my brother’s room was across the hall. This was my mom, older sister Sue, and me before my brother, John came along!  Mom was born on August 15, 1917 which means she would be 105 on her heavenly birthday! Happy Birthday Mom!

Dorie funny what you said about how sharing a room seems to be unheard of these days.  When I was growing up my brother and I shared a twin bed, and my two sister shared a twin bed, all of us in the same room.  I would have loved to just have had my own bed, much less my own room ..... LOL

My sister and I had twin beds and loved sharing evening chats. During the summer nights we use to sit by the window together looking at the stars and moon and listen to the crickets and the evening sounds!
