Cool Day and Cool Cars in Monterey Ca
On our recent trip to Monterey Ca to beat the Stanislaus County Heat we got to see lots of very cool classic cars. It's Car Week In Monterey. The festivities run through the end of this week (August 21,2022).
We saw classic cars displayed in front of the convention center and in the plaza between 
the Portola Hotel and Old Fisherman's Wharf. There were also people driving around downtown Monterey in some very cool, very expensive cars.
It looked like all the high end cars were represented this year. We saw cars from Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Bentley, Porsche, Mercedes, Bugatti and several others. There 
were also American made cars represented including Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros and Cobras among others. There were also many older classics that I didn't recognize.
There are multiple auctions taking place during the week too. Of course I won't be attending any of those auctions since I don't have an unlimited bank account. And on Sunday is the world famous 
Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance car show. This is where the best of the best shine in one of the most beautiful settings in the world.
If you are looking for something to do this weekend AND want to get out of the Stanislaus County heat for a while take the short trip to Monterey. You will see some very cool classic cars. The weather should be perfect for it. And finding a great place to eat will be easy. All this in one of the most beautiful places in California, you can't beat it!
