ArtWalk Carlsbad is September 24 and 25, 2022
The 3rd Annual ArtWalk Carlsbad is just around the corner, on September 24 and 25. No doubt artists and art lovers alike are thrilled
The inaugural ArtWalk Carlsbad was held in 2018 and was a winner – I had a great time (See Slideshow below)! The 2020 and 2021 events were unfortunately canceled due to the pandemic.
ArtWalk San Diego, the organization that produces the Mission Federal ArtWalk in Little Italy and the ArtWalk @ Liberty Square, is the organizer of this 2-day art festival in North San Diego County.
There are multiple sponsors, too, that help make this art event affordable for attendees and participating artists.
This year ArtWalk Carlsbad is free to attend, and will offer around 150 local, regional and international artists.
ArtWalk Carlsbad will be held on Armada Drive above the Carlsbad Flower Fields (no, they aren’t blooming at this time of year). There are terrific views of the Carlsbad coastline and ocean, with ocean breezes, as a side benefit to enjoying beautiful art work.
You can expect hundreds of works of art in a wide range of media – glass, photography, sculpture, oil painting, jewelry, metal work, wood working and more. Selection of artists is by jury so you can expect high quality and variety. You can check out the participating artists using this link.
There’s a special area for young artists, too. KidsWalk features fun, family-friendly art projects and art activities with several sponsors.
There will also be live music on both days on 2 stages with multiple performers.
Parking is plentiful along Fleet Street and in adjacent lots by the office buildings, immediately east of Armada Drive (there are 2 entrances to the event).
