Dylan Thomas wrote one of my favorite poems, "Do Not Go Gently Into That Good Night."  Who wouldn't wish the same for their fathers, but who can put together words so perfectly.

Died at just 40 years old.  Sad no doubt...and hopefully he was true to his words.  Thank you for stopping by.  Mark

Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho as strange as that quote may sound, it is very true.

Hi Mark- I've found that when I work the hardest (like recently in our garden) I may be exhausted but also sleep like a baby.  And I feel great!

I need to meditate on that quote a bit, Mark.  Usually, I work until I'm exhausted and then do a face plant on a pillow.  I'm asleep before boredom can find me.

Rest in moderation can be a good thing! That being said, I'm not good at it. :-)

Good morning, Mark... and interesting perspective. I do, however, believe that sometimes we need some rest and it's not boring in the least. I've learned over many years how to work hard but also rest and not feel guilty because I do.

Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho - and from that quote comes the idea, it is okay to take a break, but don't break down and do nothing. Have a wonderful day, Mark.
