Today's Caleb's first day of first grade in Franklin Ma. He's the oldest of my four Great Grandchildren, and here is a photo of both Caleb and his younger brother, Aiden.
They live two doors away from me. I hope both of them stop in with their mom on their way home. Fortunately, the school is located only three blocks away from all of us.
It's always special to live near family.

I remember when my boy went to his first day of school. It has flown by. he just started his junior year of College. I drove up and helped him set up his new room. I love watching them make amazing progress.

Hello Barbara - I still remember my first-grade teacher, Mrs. Mayne. In fact, I can likely repeat each of them from kindergarten through sixth-grade before going onto junior high school. Will there be a test?

Barbara my granddaughter starts 2nd grade on Tuesday. She is excited and nervous about it at the same time.

Such cute photos and cute boys, Barbara! You are so right... it's wonderful to have family nearby and you are fortunate to have them nearby. We just had our grandson and his wife and their 22 month old daughter visit this past weekend... they live in Portland, Oregon and this was the first time we've seen Keegan since February 2020 and due to the pandemic the first time we met our great-granddaughter.
How wonderful that he's starting first grade! Being two doors away from family must be amazing!
