A few years ago, my Sister passed. We were very close. She was the third in four family members closest to me that passed within 11 months. Talk about lessons from life. I could give you a few. I'm sure for those of you who have experienced similar, you would agree!
The other night I had a very quick dream. It didn't really make sense to me at the time..until yesterday, when I was telling myself, that you needed to get these things behind you and 1) schedule dentist 2) schedule eye exam, etc.....
When you are handling family affairs and selling real estate full-time, who has time to take care of themselves? But it was time.
As I began scheduling and taking care of things on my 'to-do-list' from yesterday, and then went to lie down for a few moments because I had accomplished a good amount and was exhausting myself, the dream came to me again.
I had kind of forgotten about it and told myself, don't forget to write about this. It's important that people know these messages come to us in our dreams.
The dream started and my Sister and I were in a dark house....locked in somehow and we could see, it wasn't scary but it was dark, maybe night time...there was a little light (enough to see), but that's all.
She quickly said, "We are going to get out of here fast!"
Told you it was a quick dream! It felt significant yesterday as I lied there, thinking about what I'd accomplished in a short time...mostly self-care items...things that Realtors rarely have time to do.
I do feel that the dream was telling me it's time to get on with your life...and I was!
I am so thankful that She visited me...and told me, basically, that I'd get through this. Some days, and I'm sure you understand if you've experienced similar, I am not sure if I will make it through. But then I do and all is well in the world.
I don't let myself give up even when I want to...maybe that was what the message in the dream was about as well?
Any thoughts - please feel free to share.
God Bless You and Your Family and May your Labor Day Weekend be filled with safe, happy moments!
