In the past week, I have had two friends who have been friends for 15 and 30 years who asked me how I am always so positive. Some people have it and some do not. It is a simple process, there are many intervals to it and the KEY is to work on it daily, you see I believe when you have negative or fearful thoughts come to mind that is the devil.
Read Acts chapters 22 and 23 and see the difficulties Paul faced, you will realize that you are not experiencing the horror that he experienced. God was still always with him.
Some things to help with adversity:
Read something daily for at least 30 minutes.
Pray daily, and when the negative happens that is the ideal time to pray when you pray you are not thinking of any bad events.
Read your bible for a few minutes daily.
Read positive quotes
Listen to enthusiastic music such as The Eagles, The Bee Gees, upbeat country, and western.
Think and write down 20 or 50 positive events in your past including the simple ones as well you graduated from high school etc.
As far as sales, in my 40+ years of residential real estate sales, I maintained a positive attitude most of the time, because of my strong passion for the business, it was fun, and I published two books about real estate sales.
When you can walk into the Phoenix Public Library and look up your name or MYTHS AND REALITIES OF REAL ESTATE SALES and see your book on the shelf that is a real upbeat opportunity. YES, I sold the city of Phoenix on purchasing six of my books to place in different branches.
Creating the Worlds Largest Residential Pumpkin Parade and purchasing and giving away 2000 pumpkins every October for 10 years and flying in four TV station helicopters to four valley hospitals in my orange suit to deliver pumpkins to kids was also a blast, and avoided negativity.
I hope your day is as great as mine
