You've all seen them. Many of you have even tried them. And almost all of you have been frustrated beyond belief.
You know the tik toks, and youtubes that show you how to fold a fitted sheet, right?
I used to just kinda crumble them into a randomly shaped ball, until it slightly resembled something that would fit into a drawer, or on a shelf.
One day I was perusing the internet, as one does, and I found a video (I don't remember if it was on youtube, tik tok, pinterest or somewhere else) of a Martha Stewart-esque woman folding a fitted sheet into a beautiful, flat square... the same sort of look/feel that my fitted sheet looked like when I first bought it.
Each time I changed the sheets on my bed, I tried to follow one of those demonstrations, and each time it ended in that rounded ball of a sheet and a lot of cursing.
Recently, somehow, someway I managed to follow one of those tik toks that I saw, with yet another random 'fitted-sheet-magician', and it worked. Damn, it worked! My fitted sheet wasn't quite a flat as when it first arrived (basically in an envelope), but it was flat-ish, and square and a delight to behold.
I'm so proud of me... I just had to tell SOMEone, and you guys are the unlucky recipients of that need. Now I only hope I can do it again and remember for the next time.
