This fawn wandered into our back yard yesterday and don't think for a moment that Baby (our rescue dog) didn't notice. So how did the little fawn react to a big dog barking at it?
She just kept grazing.
I guess when you are an urban deer you learn what is and is not a real threat and a dog secured behind a fence is not even worth a second look.

Much of our planting revolves around the deer and squires Roy Kelley . That being said, since we got our dog (Baby) we have not seen any squirrels in our yard. We have a 7' deer fence around our vegetable garden. 😂

Understood Nina Hollander, Broker . As I mentioned to Roy Kelley our garden planting is always with the deer in mind. I was amazed at how laid back this deer was as well. Baby was no more than 75' away and barking up a storm. The deer just kept grazing and even kept getting closer.

Yes, some of the (urban) deer her have little fear of people as they have spent their whole life here Myrl Jeffcoat and I imagine quite a few people feed them.
Isn't that a fact Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho . When I read "Man hit by train" I always shake my head and wonder how did that happen?
