What do you love about the area?:. We love the small town feel of Saint Michael and the fact that we are a suburb that is a bit further out from the cities but is still close enough to enjoy everything the cities has to offer.
What are some great things about your city?: There are many walking and biking paths right out our front door. And Saint Michael's sister city, Albertville, is just up the road and we share many festivities such as the Daze and Knights Festival in August. And Albertville Days in July. Plus in the summer, there is Music in the Park at the Saint Michael City Hall Pavilion which is within walking distance of our house. The Great River Regional Library is also within walking distance.
What restaurants are nearby?: We have great local family owned restaurants such as Main Street Farmer and The Hen and the Hog who support local farms. We also have BK Tap Haus and Bourbon Room in town for a fun night out. Or for a warm summer evening we visit What's the Scoop for fabulous homemade ice cream.
What grocery stores or nearby shopping is there?: Minutes away is the Albertville Outlet Mall. We have a few great grocery stores; Cub Foods and Dehmer's Meat Market. Information about the schools in our area: The Saint Michael and Albertville (STMA) school district is well known and highly sought after.
What do you do for interests and hobbies near the property?: We love walking through the nearby Crow Hassen Park Reserve with our dogs and there are many great Horse Trails throughout the park. We have the Crow Hassen Dog Park which is 40 acres and unfenced with trails and paths as well. Behind the Saint Michael City Hall and Library, we have a new Splash Pad, Playground, Pickleball Courts and Pavilion for public use within walking distance.
Other recent upgrades include granite counter tops in the kitchen along with LVT flooring and new doors and trim in the kitchen and upper level. Main Bathroom has been remodeled with granite counter tops, tile floors, tile shower with extra deep bathtub for luxurious bubble baths. Backyard is fully fenced with a 5 foot high chain link fence with a double wide gate for easy access.
Key points about the house that we were drawn to when we first looked at the home: When we purchased the home we were drawn to the spaciousness of the backyard for our pets. And we loved the small town feel of Saint Michael.
