The chiropractor and the REALTOR

By

Not too many years ago a friend's son came home.  He'd been away at chiropractor school for about 7 years.  It evidently takes a long time to become a chiropractor.

I was selected to show him houses.  He liked one side of town better than the other.  We almost had a house chosen when we went to look at it for the second time.  I couldn't help noticing all the flaws and felt it was my duty to point them out to him.  He decided against it.

I talked him into looking at a house on the "wrong" side of town.  Wrong side in his mind, but not wrong for everyone else.  He loved it!  He bought it!

Then he said, "Where do you hurt, Barbara?"  I replied that I didn't hurt anywhere.

Well, a few years later I did hurt.  My neck was sore and the pain was running to my shoulder.  I went to see him wondering what he'd do.  To my surprise, he was able to manipulate my back, my neck, my shoulder, my head and made me feel better.  He said it was stress in my neck and shoulders from all my real estate worries.  The best thing of all was the short time it took!  Going to a medical doctor takes so long because the time in the waiting room runs into several hours.  After a few trips, I had no pain again!

I became a believer in chiropractic.  I go regularly for adjustments or if I have a pain.  If my knee hurts, he takes care of it.  Back problem....no problem.  I recommend a good chiropractor if you've got aches and pains.  Try one.

Scott, that's great!  I can tell my back and my posture and my disposition are better after an adjustment.  Thanks for comments.

Gita, what did you do at the chiropractor's office?

Solaris Realty, a massage, so I hear, is wonderful for some people.  My one experience wasn't to my liking so I've declined any more.  I like short and quick!!!

Barbara, many are not as familiar with chiropractors but from what others tell me about them, they work wonders. Thanks for sharing that you had a wonderful experience.

I hope your're recommending Dr. Tad, Barbara!  He and I went to Chiropractor school together years ago and yes, it does take a long time and a lot of money to become a Chiropractor!

I agree.  I've used a good chiropractor in the past.  He was great!  Thanks for sharing your story.  :)

Ron Tarvin's Team, are you referring to Dr. Tad Scarborough?  And did you finish chiropractor school?  I had his house listed for awhile but he works in another city and moved closer to work.  He was a pleasant individual.  He and his wife adopted twins!!!  And they got them overnight with no advance notice.  They quickly withdrew the house because it had baby things everywhere.  They now have it rented.

I've had better and faster results with chiropractors than with time consuming physical therapy. Somehow though, I seem to always take the more traditional approach and ent up at PT. Probably, so my doctor is able to make better sense of the follow up reports.

I'm getting ready for my first trip to the Chiropractor and I sure hope it helps because I'm lousy when it comes to going to a MD.

Cameron, you will like it.  The MD's seem to be worse and worse about not honoring appointments.  You can sit there for hours and then get a pill that might zap you.  (Did me, anyhow.)  With the chiropractor , you get right in and right out.  Let me know how it goes.
