Welcome Fall in Denver

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with House to Home, Inc. - Denver Real Estate - 720-231-6373 DRE# ER40011786

Many are talking about "Fall", but Denver has not really experienced much cooler weather yet.   BUT, today we shall see temperatures in the 60's.   It will feel nice to finally have cooler temperatures.   Over the last couple of weeks, we have broken records for high temperatures, as we have set new records of days in the 90's.   We need some RAIN!    It is quite nice in the early mornings, as this morning it was 45 degrees when I got up this morning.

The mountains will be busy with leaf peepers all over.    It is fun to see all the beautiful colors, the elk, moose and whatever animal decides to make an appearance!    There has already been snowfall in the higher peaks, and skiers are watching with excitement.

Bears are supposed to be starting to hibernate, but still seeing some coming into town.   They must be searching for food before they hibernate.

We had some early rain in Elk Grove and even snow up at the ski resorts.  I can't imagine that it will stay there for long, though.  Maybe this means we are going to have a wet winter.  We need the rain too.

Joan, the cooler night temps is something North Idaho is fortunate in having about 95% of the year.  And that 5% rarely goes above 70 at night.  M

Hello Joan - it was in the low-mid 80s at one point this afternoon in Pasadena.  Not exactly corduroy pants, flannel shirt weather.  I saw more people out in summer-like apparel.  Oh, well. . .

Hi Joan,

Happy Fall! - I mentioned to Rick that they said fall should hit Flagstaff the first week of October.  But Rick reminded me you must have some really cold (32º) weather for the process to start.  So, Flagstaff is not there yet. Generally, Sedona does not see a change until well into Novenber.  This is my favorite time of year.

Good morning! We had some Fall rain yesterday, which we definitely needed so that was good. There is no snow in the mountains yet (unless some fell yesterday -  I haven't heard yet).

I'm hoping the Fall weather lasts a long time and winter doesn't come until January. haha.

Hi Joan... our temperatures are also dropping today into the 70's. Fortunately, we see no bears hunting for food! :)))

Paul, there is definitely a crispness in the area right now.   At this moment it is 55 degrees outdoors.

Kat, winter doesn't come to Kalispell until Dec/Jan?     We got lucky last year with our first snowfall in December, but that was a new record.  Never waits that long!

Hi Joan,
I love Fall the best for it's mild temperatures and beautiful colors. We're having lovely days here in central Washington now. Perfect golf weather... and I'm glad to able to play again!
