Today is the last day of summer. Tomorrow starts Fall. These are the last of summer colors in Flower Mound Texas. I noticed the colors of Autumn began to emerge before the official date of Autumn on September 22, 2022, while fewer of the summer colors hung on and did not let go.
I also noticed a change in the real estate market but not much. I continue to plan for the future and serve now. I know exactly what to do because I learned long ago, I need a platform that continues to grow my business that attracts buyers and sellers needing to buy and sell, no matter what season we are in.
The color pink hangs on and continues to bloom while hot dry weather shrivels and fades similar plants. Many have ceased and will not return until next summer. Fall comes quickly in Texas landscaping.
Summer real estate sales are dwindling. I see in my area many adjusted prices, no longer in competition as they were the past few years. It is the sign of times. Some sellers and buyers have given up, tempted by what the media says about inflation, the economy, jobs, and sends chills down spines in the hottest days of summer. Others will never give in to fear.
The blues close to the ground under the shady trees appear to be healthier while they continue to bloom. They stay abreast of changes without fear.
I noticed in my market some agents are still selling strong. Prices are high, a few multiple offers, but not many. The numbers of successful agents and sales are stronger than ever. Yesterday there were two moving trucks in my neighborhood and the real estate signs disappeared. Buyers and sellers will continue to buy and sell and live their best life when they believe.
The yellow shrubs are bursting with competition to come in last for the season. Summer doesn't seem to want to let go, and the weather is still in the high 90s.
Year round there are agents who celebrate and enjoy a healthy competition and don't give up. They blossom and grow.
The color orange temps us with Halloween and Autumn colors. Soon there will be pumpkins, Chrysanthemums, spectacular sunsets, and gourds, all playing a critical role in announcing the season of Fall. Orange attracts abundance.
The current market may see many agents drop out of the market and others will start their careers. When it comes to inventory, serious buyers will buy. Sellers will sell. They won't be intimidated by interest rates because they know a home is still the biggest and best investment over stocks and bonds. With a healthy mind and knowing how to manage money, many will prosper. Agents who live as if every day was a gift will continue to serve the needs of buyers and sellers. People who believe in the American dream will buy and sell real estate. Many will thrive and grow their own business or work hard to pay their mortgage, taxes, insurance, and home maintenance.
Successful agents know it is all about honesty, ethics, loyalty, building relationships, marketing, tracking, education, referrals, and staying in touch while making connections. Those who attract love and abundance are in the best position to succeed.
