Neighborhood Information

One of the most beautiful parts of Burlingame, San Mateo County, California, is Burlingame State Park. Burlingame State Park is located just off Burlingame Avenue near Hillsborough. People looking to relocate to the area often live on this road because of its many desirable features. There are hundreds of houses for sale in the Burlingame State Park area, and each one sits on a sizable lot compared to other city districts. This area is unrivaled, and its residents can rightfully take pride in their status as possessors of a highly desirable commodity. Its green streets have recently sold homes for millions of dollars.

You may also hear the name "Old Burlingame" when referring to Burlingame State Park. It is characterized by tree-lined streets and historic homes that date back to the city's founding. The Burlingame Country Club was established in a collection of charming houses constructed in 1893. Two of the original buildings still stand around St. Paul's Episcopal Church. As you make your way through these historic avenues, you will notice that many street names pay tribute to local figures of significance, such as Francis Newlands. It was primarily due to his efforts that the country club was established. On the other hand, his father-in-law, William Sharon, and namesake, William Ralston, deserve the glory for constructing the Palace Hotel. Burlingame's first $4 million neighborhood was solidified in 2021 as wealthy purchasers flocked to the city's highest-priced neighborhood, contributing to a 42% increase in home sales citywide. In 2022, Burlingame Park homebuyers paid an average of $4.119 million, 105% over the asking price. Almost all of the homes for sale in and around Burlingame State Park cost more than $4 million, making this an excellent time to buy because estimates for appreciation in the area's real estate market show a steady rise in the years ahead. Burlingame State Park is a family-friendly, affluent neighborhood in California that strikes the ideal balance between being surrounded by the stunning natural scenery of the San Francisco Bay Area and being only a short distance from all the urban amenities that city life has to offer. Residents' admiration of the area's stunning tree-lined streets influenced the community's walk score.
