Some Of The Best Marketing Sources Are FREE...Not Many Use Them

Every month I attempt to take advantage of “Free Marketing” in the form of press releases.  This is a source that every active real estate agent should use as frequently as possible in as many sources as possible. 

One never knows who will be reading the newspaper the day your press release runs.  Always keep in mind that “people want to do business with successful people.”  If you are mindful of that one statement, you will automatically flood offline and online sources with your successes. 

Network with your local newspaper people.  Get to know them and make sure they know who you are and what you do.  Everyone has success with something every month.  Dedicate one week every month to press releases and run them in a few newspapers and POST THEM ONLINE.  Redundancy is good!!!  The end of the month works best for my team because that’s when the stats for month are announced by RE/MAX of New England. 

I’ve been posting those numbers every month for years, and they always have a different title.  Posting different information with the same flavor of “success” becomes “a brand with which one’s name becomes labeled.”  That’s good marketing, and it’s Free.  I love Free….especially since much of what I do costs me money!!!!!
