Do You Think Clever Is Clever

Today I got a call from a lady with Clever Sales which was started just a few years ago in St. Louis, Missouri.

This is a company offering the potential seller client money back when they sell their house through a "clever authorized agent". The fee we pay back to Clever as a clever agent is 25% or $1000 whichever is highest. I did not study the details but "clever" sends the seller client money back when they close on the sale of their home.

Here in Tennessee Realtors are not allowed to rebate sellers or buyers. I do know that is what relocation companies do and the bribe fee is a much higher percentage. Anyone do business with "Clever" and what are your thoughts about them?

I am not familiar with clever either.  No doubt because I am not very clever or smart. Oh well

Mike Frazier  I am not a discount broker, never have been and never will be. My take is when sellers listen to what I have to say once in a while a conversation comes up as to what my commissions are... due to  the laws I can not tell you but if you ask me privately I will tell you I charge two or three  and sometimes four times more than the average Realtor for the lands I list. Seldom do I hear can you do it for less. It is a value proposition. Endre

We are not allowed to give back like they are doing and I wouldn't if I could. I'm not a discount broker and feel my service is worth my commission and my results speak for themselves.
