I'm seeing so many headlines about chili, my mouth has been watering all morning.
It is so interesting how regional chili is, everyone absolutely sure that THEIR recipe is the best.
Working in a large office, I've tasted many a chili -- chicken, steak, corn, barbecue, white, superhot, mole.... to name a few.
Then there's the debate of beans or no beans, macaroni or no noodles (that's how my neighbors did it in Wisconsin!) Cheese? Sour Cream? Avocado?
I perhaps, personalize my chili in the worst way, something I've done since "chili days" for hot lunch in school.
You see, I never really went for spicy, and nowadays, I'm even more sensitive.
I add milk to my chili.
My logic is -- we all love cream of tomato soup, don't we???
