First my thoughts and prayers are with those in Florida that had the brunt of Hurricane Ian. It will be today when we find out just how bad it was for many. At 4:00 this morning we were notified of a family member with knee deep water in their home in Orlando, don’t know too much more at this point.
Yesterday was just a raining day with an occasional gust of wind, went out last evening and gather up some palm prawns which littered my front yard. About midnight it got serious with wind and driving rain. Several times overnight was awakened by rain and wind. I looked out the windows this morning and can’t see any damage but too windy and raining too hard to get outside. We never loss power or internet, saw on Facebook a few areas of The Villages did experience power outages.
Looks like by about 1:00 pm today Ian will be out of my area. Keep those who were directly in the path in your thoughts and prayers and thank you to some of you that contacted me directly to check on me!
