TikTok is quickly becoming one of the most popular social media platforms, and it's perfect for real estate marketing. Why? Because TikTok is all about short, attention-grabbing videos. And what's more attention-grabbing than a beautiful property or the crazy real estate business? If you're thinking about joining TikTok or are simply curious about how to use TikTok for business read on for everything you need to know.

How to Use TikTok for your Real Estate Business

  1. Create a personal TikTok page with a branded profile that promotes your real estate business. Use relevant keywords in your profile name and bio.
  2. Make sure your account is public and include a link in the bio to increase traffic to your website or blog.
  3. Use TikTok to share behind-the-scenes footage of what it takes to sell a house or just show your team. Make sure your videos are interesting and engaging content that people will want to share.
  4. Use TikTok to connect with potential clients. Many people are starting to search TikTok before Google to research potential real estate agents before they work with someone. So make sure you're active on social media and regularly sharing helpful, informative content.
  5. Share tutorials or how-to videos about how new real estate agents can get started in the business.
  6. Collaborate with other real estate agents or influencers. Collaboration is the new currency!
  7. Create interesting and engaging videos that showcase your houses or services. Link to your TikTok videos from your website or blog.
  8. Upload videos regularly with How To, Best of, or showcase houses to keep your followers engaged.
  9. Focus on SEO because many people are starting to search TikTok instead of Google to find things. By optimizing your videos for search, you can make sure that your content is being seen by the right people. This helps connect with potential clients, promote your listings, and build a brand.
  10. Use hashtags to reach a wider audience and make sure they are relevant to your content. And Host contests and giveaways on TikTok to promote a new listing or open house.
  11. Optimize your videos for mobile. TikTok is a mobile-first platform, so it's important to optimize your videos for mobile devices. Use vertical video format because users search on their phones a lot more than computers, and they are starting to prefer shorter videos over long videos on YouTube.

There's no magic formula for going viral on TikTok, but there are certainly some things you can do to increase your chances. You can also try partnering with other popular TikTok users to create joint videos, which can help attract a larger audience. Finally, don't forget to promote your TikTok account on other social media platforms like Instagram to help generate even more interest.

I've had an amazing experience with TikTok for business. Despite TikToks fast growth, users have more exposure opportunities than they do on Instagram. Especially new users.
