We have finally made it through the seemingly never-ending summer in Southeast Texas, and the temps have been hovering in the mid-eighties instead of pushing 100. I will take it. I love this time of the year, birds show up during their migrations, and my dogs really enjoy taking walks, and the boys seem to not ever want to be inside.
One of my favorite things about living in Mont Belvieu is the monthly farmers market, which takes place the first Saturday of every month at the city park. Local vendors will set up booths at the park and showcase their goods. It is a great event for the community and a fun thing to get out and do. I look forward to this Saturday every month.
Later on in October the city puts on its annual Boo bash in the park. This year the Molly Ringwald's will be performing. There are also food vendors set up and and games for the kids as well as costume contests. https://www.montbelvieu.net/Calendar.aspx?EID=4583&month=10&year=2022&day=1&calType=0
The following day the annual fall fest will take place at the BBHISD bus barn. This is also a huge event for the community as some of the proceeds go toward the purchase of library books, computer equipment, science equipment and other educational tools for the students. The funds will also go toward Eagle of the month and other incentives such as this.
I hope to see you at some of these events! Hope everyone has a great fall! And if You haven't done so yet, Move to the Hill!
