When is the best time to view the fall foliage in North Carolina?
It is estimated that over 5 million people visit the NC mountains each fall to see the fall foliage. Each year the best time can vary based on the temperatures.
The local new station WRAL in Raleigh made a great post about best times to view the leaves changing.
NCSU also discusses the best times and places to see fall foliage in North Carolina.
One comment I get about North Carolina often is how green it is here. Fall is the time of year where you can see hues of red, yellow and orange before the trees begin to lose their leaves. It is arguably one of the best times to visit North Carolina just to appreciate its beauty.
Happy Fall Ya'll!
