Kat Palmiotti good morning, Kat... this is one of Charlotte's biggest food events each year. We've had years where more than 130,000 people attended.

Oh my goodness, Roy... our rain stopped on Saturday morning. We had some cloudy skies on Sunday, but mostly beautiful sunny weather since and it's going to be that way the rest of the week.

Dorie Dillard Austin TX hi Dorie... this is just one of the Breast Cancer Awareness events in Charlotte this month... I love the idea that each time you complete a lap of Truist Field you get a mini-pink cupcake. That would certainly incentivize me to keep walking!

Brian England this is really a fun event because you get little tastes of everything. And then you can go back to the things you really liked.

Sounds like lots of fun and tasty.  I would skip the alcohol and just eat but I don't drink either.  I am sure there will be a ton of yummy food.  Have a fabulous day!

Joan Cox hi Joan... no... I just can't handle events with tens of thousands of people milling around me. I've had a taste of Taste of Charlotte in the past and the crowds were just beyond.

I have avoided these huge events too.   Always I went to the Taste of Colorado over Labor Day weekend, and now just prefer to stay home.

Norma J. Elkins hi Norma... I don't drink either... so I'm always only interested in food and if there's an artisan's market, I'm all about that, too.

Chocolate? You're talking my language but, like you, I don't like large crowds. I bet it will be very popular again this year.

Kathy Streib hi Kathy... this was always a late spring event... not sure why they changed it to autumn... it was actually scheduled for last weekend, but delayed till this one due to the threat of tropical storms from Ian last week.

Carol Williams hi Carol... the last time I attended it was wall-to-wall people! The only saving grace was that I didn't have to drive there and was able to take the train.

Hi Nina Hollander, Broker
That's the way our Leavenworth Christmas Tree Lightings are. I swore I would never go back. It was like you wouldn't fall down even if you passed out; it was so crowded. And, parking is always a problem. It is a beautiful celebration but too crazy for me.

Nina I love these events.  We did not have a taste of Middletown the last 3 years, so I am hoping they start it up again next year.

George Souto hi George, our Taste of Charlotte did not take place in 2020. It came back in 2021. Hopefully yours will be back soon. These events are so popular I'd hate to see them disappear forever.
