It's another beautiful day in real estate! Tuesdays are tour days. We spend a majority of the day out in the field looking at an assortment of available properties. All of the homes we visited today showed beautifully. There was a beautiful rancher in Clayton with lots of living space, and playing space! Foyer to living room to formal dining, family room to informal dining, three car garage, swimming pool with views, this 4 bedroom 2 bath home has it all! I would say the best buy was a 3 bedroom 2 bath home in Pleasant Hill. Built in the 1980's it's an easier home to maintain in a great area of Pleasant Hill. We also saw a newer custom home in Lafayette price over $2M that was truly impressive with the fresh and cutting edge design. The master bath was vibrant red and the master bedroom had shiny silver flooring. There wasn't a single square foot of carpet in the entire home, not even a throw rug.
It's important for Realtors to network with each other. Many people would think on the surface we are each other's competition. It's precisely the opposite! We are each other's sales force. Our best and most effective form of marketing is the networking we do with each other. When we have a listing another agent will bring us a buyer and vice versa. Realtors work with qualified buyers and they know what those buyers can afford, so when they show up to your listing that's a hot buyer for your property! Anyone can walk through an open house. Most are just looking or in a different price range than the home they wander through.
There's a lot of comradery among the Realtors that attend the CCRIM (Contra Costa Realtors In Motion) marketing meeting and caravan tour. We share clients' wants and needs to match our buyers to sellers and sellers to buyers. We talk about the market and what we are experiencing while we're helping our clients. Today the consensus was that the low end of the market is hot! We're experiencing multiple offers on lower priced properties. I know the last few offers we've put in for our buyers have been multiple offer situations.
Tuesdays are always an adventure! It really is just pure fun for me to go out looking at property and talking shop with the other agents. It really is a great day in real estate!
