Fall Silobration 2022 - Southern Utah Style!

 

Invitations were sent and party preparations made way for a one-of-a-kind event on Saturday the 8th at the Silo. As guests descended upon Veyo, Utah, it was evident that the festivities would become memorable.

 

The band showed up at 4PM to fine tune their instruments and put in a little practice before playing for the crowd at 5PM. 

 

A special ActiveRain member guest showed up bearing gifts. Brian England and I talked like we'd known each other forever. I gave him the grand tour of Nerdin Gardens, the Silo and the now famous, 1/2 bathroom.

 

 

 

Homemade Filipino food made fresh that day, was on the menu that included Adobo Chicken, Lumpia, Jasmine Rice, Chicken BBQ on a skewer, Pancit, Beef Stew and Leche Custard for dessert. Yu-um!

 

 

Dick Earl's Electric Witness played until after 9PM carrying us well into the evening. Parting gifts were sent home with everyone as they left but the memories remain of another successful Fall Silobration on the books!

 

Thanks again Brian England for sharing time with all of us here and glad you made it home safely. Until next time...!

It is a steel grain silo converted into an outdoor entertainment center with a stage for live bands and it is located in my back yard, Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089.

We used to have a Scafco silo that we used for water storage... until it got too rusty and we had to replace it.
