So, you took the class to sit for the State of Hawaii Realtor's Exam, passed the test and now you are a licensed Realtor-Associate in Hawaii! Well Done! You may have even hit the ground running and went out and hung your New License with a Real Estate Company here in the Islands. Then you sat, waited, did their "Training", did Open Houses for other Realtors, and then waited some more. You have the best intentions and if you could only get a client! You would be the Best Realtor Ever! I know how you feel because I was there and I talk to Realtors like you everyday. The fact is that most of the post license training for Realtors by Real Estate Companies is lacking. If it were excellent, more Realtors would be successful and not need other jobs to pay their bills.
You may be a new Realtor or a Realtor that has been around for a while and have found yourself not knowing what to do or how to make it in this "New" Market. FEAR NOT! We have answered the call for great people just like you!
Many Real Estate Companies have trainers and training staff that were never trained to train. Many have never been in Corporate Management in their lives and have no idea how to teach or train or even motivate a team of Realtors much less really teach them how to Succeed as a Realtor.. Realty Executives Oahu has a training program called the "Executive in Training" or "EIT Program. The EIT Program is made up of 12 Modules that take you from the Basics of filling out the Purchase Contract and Addendums to Marketing and Advanced Marketing. You are able to work with the trainers after you complete the program to get personal one on one coaching. You will never have to split the commission of a transaction with your Trainers or Coach. If you miss a Training Module, you can make it up the next time the EIT Program runs.
I have seen companies tell new Realtors to WAIT and finish their training before the New Realtor starts to help a customer...even when they have a customer that is WAITING for them to help them! This is CRAZY TALK! We're a service industry and making a customer wait for your company to complete an Administrative Process IS NUTS! It's like a restaurant telling hungry guests that have come in for sit in a specific waiter's station that they will have to wait to FOR WEEKS to eat because the waiter they want has to fill out some paperwork! If you have a person or family or customer or friend that has asked you to help them, and you have just joined our team and HAVE NO CLUE...OK...maybe a little Clue...of what to do and how to help them, one of our Coaches will take you by the hand and walk you step by step through your transaction. You may close escrow and not be sure exactly how you ended up with a commission check in your hands, but that's OK! The main thing is that you were able to help a client, and we filled in the training as we went.
Even in this case, the Coach that helped you through the Transaction will Never Take a Part of Your Commission! The program is excellent and our team has been training team members for over 20 years. The team are also Top Producing Realtors, so they know what they are talking about.
