Sweet Blogging Success in the Rain!
It used to be widely thought that bloggers here should only write about local market reports, community information and other serious real estate subjects that attracted google juice. Thankfully, AR allows the freedom to write freely, as long as subjects fall within community guidelines.
Besides, I blog about EVERYTHING southern Utah and that includes:
- Local industry news
- Market reports
- Blooming flowers
- My family life
- Our garden
- Going fishing
-
The Silo
And even wrote a blog about a horse's petute one time after an unsavory experience. That post has gotten almost 11,000 views so far! When writing about something I love, like catching rainbows, quite often the passion shines through and becomes almost therapeutic some days.
Catchy titles pique people's curiosity, often inviting them in to read further. This was a fun post...Unicorn farts and false promises. The author of an online article wrote that blogging doesn't work and yet, I discovered the pretense behind his post. He was trying to sell referrals to the audience!
A KW agent sent a referral because she liked my online status here. I listed and sold her mother's house. The financial burden was lifted, allowing her to move on. Yay! Another fellow ActiveRain member called with a referral from Ohio. It also successfully closed with smiles all around.
Blogging success means something different to each of us. A few days ago, I ran into another member who stopped blogging because she lost sight in the value of ActiveRain. Staying the course has improved my business life and many members continue to inspire me, almost daily.
My 14th AR Anniversary is coming up in January 2023. I still write about a variety of posts, including, well-written industry news, real estate adventures, snippets of people's lives, funny anecdotes and look forward to the contests that stretch us and allow for member get-to-knowability.
Blog on successfully my AR friends...Blog on!
