I like to say that my clients are my friends or friends to be. In this case, my good Runnin for Rhett friends, Gary and Nancy, reached out to me to help them sell their long time home. It was an unexpected move for them. Their renter decided to move out and Gary and Nancy decided it was time to downsize. There was a lot to do in a short amount of time. The yard needed some work, a deck needed shoring up, some carpet needed replacing and there was quite a bit of painting to do. Gary and Nancy ended up being dynamos. I really do not know how Gary did it. He broke his clavicle about half way through the process. It did not slow him down. They were both amazing and the results were fantastic. Just look at what they did with the backyard!

The work they did on the interior of the house was equally impressive.

It took a lot of work, but it was worth it and they are now enjoying their new home!
Nancy's Point of View
"If you're reading this, you're likely looking for an agent. There are so many real estate agents in the market but I can't recommend Ray Henson highly enough. Why? Ray stands out ... in a good way! He's not only skilled in the market but he also has experience in the painting/cabinet business, and is ethical and detailed. My husband and I have bought and sold a dozen homes in the last 20 years but this last sale was the most important. We finally sold our family home of 23 years. Using a recommendation from friends, we made the decision to choose Ray as our listing agent. We're so glad we did. Ray had the knowledge to consult with us on the updates we were making and even rolled up his sleeves in a few instances to give us specific help and guidance. We listed in a rough market and Ray was quick to collaborate with us, discuss our options, and get any data we asked for. He held multiple open houses and whenever we had questions or needed his time, he made himself available. If you're looking for an agent, give Ray a call!"
Thank you very much Nancy. It was a real pleasure helping you and Gary. I think we made a wonderful team and I really hope you both are enjoying your new home. More importantly, thank you both for being great friends. See you soon on the pickleball courts! ! !
