Friday Fun…What’s In Your Basket?

Good morning, Kathy... my favorite would have to be Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (even if it is made by Brand x and not Mars). Peanut M&M's would come in as a close second. I still need to go out and buy some candy... because in my neighborhood it's usually a tsunami of trick or treaters.

I have my candy and ready for the on-slough of trick or treaters! My favorite candy (if I'm going to get it) is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I guess Snickers would be my second choice (its my brother's favorite and we always like to get them at Halloween). My grandkids like Starbursts and they don't like candy corn (I don't either).

We have tons of treat or treaters at our door so we have to be well stocked. Mine is a favorite that is probably not on any top list. It's Nestles Crunch, and my least favorite is one of the more popular ones but I used to throw them out, which is snickers!

Hi Kathy - my favorites are M&M's and Reeses.  That said, we go down to a street where is is mobbed with trick or treaters.

I remember as a child way back then.  We always remembered the houses with the Quality Candy. 

Kathy, I had candy ready for the first year I lived here, and had not one trick or treater come by.   I have bought any candy since.   We don't have little kids here.

I will be participating in an event where we need to be prepared to hand out up to 7,000 pieces of candy, it should be interesting, haha.

Snickers are my favourite or anything else with nuts or coconut. Not sure if we are going to get any kids in our new development, so we have not bought any candy as we definitely do not need it in the house.

Mounds bars would be high on my list. However, anything with chocolate is okay.

I'm with Roy Kelley. I love the Mounds bars. I also like Twix and Reece's peanut butter cups. 

I don't get any trick-or-treaters at my house. I'm glad to see Halloween events where the kids can safely get their treats.

Happy Halloween!  - We don't get ANY - ghosts and goblins. I live in a gated community, and there are no children here except one family with kids.  Of course, we see Tristan every week, but the only other children are other grandchildren that visit during vacation time.

My favorite candy is our state candy.  Hershey Kisses or the mini-Hershey Bars.  I have a Bucket full right now...just for me! Haha!

I try to make a point of not buying Snickers.  Why, you ask?  Because Snickers is my favorite candy.  If I bought it, I'd eat them all before the kids arrived at my door, and then feel bloated and guilty!

Kathy unlike you we get a ton of kids knocking at our door on Halloween.  My wife starts buying candy at the beginning of the month each time she goes grocery shopping.

Since we live in a fairly remote area with very low population density, I purchase candy and drop it off at Mohave County Sheriff's department for their truck and treat event they hold each Halloween.

We are ready for the Trick or Treaters, and I suspect there will be a big bunch tomorrow compared to last year. Got our boosters at CVS the other day and with our savings coupons plus the BOGOs we are set! Hopefully there will be some candy left over for snacking for this chocoholic!

Snickers I think is my favorite. I like Mounds too but the coconut getting caught in my teeth is annoying.
