I’ve always found quotes from Theodore Roosevelt, our 26th president of the United States speak volumes to me.
I enjoy working hard for something I love and have found it produces passion while working for something I don’t care about always brings on stress. That doesn’t work for me. My priorities changed many years ago when I learned to work smarter, not harder at a career that was important to me.
One of my favorite quotes from Teddy is:
“Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.”
