Here is a story to make you think.
An old man, a boy and a donkey were going to town. The boy was riding while the old man walked. as they made their way they heard comments from the people they passed as to what a shame it was that a healthy young boy rode while the poor old man had to walk.
The old man and the boy thought the critics may be right, so they changed positions and the old man rode while the young boy walked. The comments changed to "what pity, that the old man makes the young boy walk, while he rides."
So they decided that they should both walk. Again they heard comments. "Well that's stupid, for both of them to walk when they have a perfectly good donkey to ride on.
So, again they changed and decided that whey would both ride the donkey. Again the comments heard were unfavorable..."what a shame to put such an overly large burden on that poor donkey.
The old man and boy decided that maybe the people were right so they carried the donkey. As they were crossing the bridge they lost their hold and the donkey fell into the river and drowned.
MORAL OF THR STORY!
If you try to please everybody, you may as well Kiss your ass goodbye.
