I have this little friend I am so grateful each day for her love. A companion that follows me everywhere. She is small and beautiful. She is unusual as she follows me without a leash when I take a walk outside. My neighbors are amazed especially those that also have a pet like her. If you did not see her picture you may have thought it was a dog.
For those of you that know me, it is Cleo my Siamese cat. She does not wander she even sat when she saw a squirrel sitting on a bench I said no stay there she sat and watched. She may walk ten or five feet away but never further from me. If I say home she walks in front of me and goes home. Mind you I never really go very far from home. The man Arnold who lives in the unit above me is fascinated when he watches Cleo. He also has a cat and says his cat would just run off. I laugh and tell him she saw the maintenance men and ran all the way home. You see their building is on the other side of us.
I am thankful for Cleo she communicates with me with a touch of her paw when she wants my attention. as Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, Phoenix Broker her dog watches TV Cleo watches YouTube TV for cats I remember Debe Maxwell, CRS tried it one time for her cat on the computer and it was a touch screen big mistake.
here is a cute video :
Cleo is a funny lady she makes me laugh as many a cat owner will tell you. She knows her limits except she likes the computer. The printer really fascinates her. She especially likes our Zoom meetings. She jumps in my lap as soon as it starts and the speakers start to talk. Sometimes you can see her little ears. She also will jump in my lap when the phone is on speaker. In fact, she is tapping my shoulder now she wants me to stop. She will just sit and stare at me if she wants treats.
She guards me in the bathroom if I am in the shower or bathtub she will be sitting there waiting for me to get out. George Souto laughed the last time I wrote about Cleo. She does guard me. I have read about Siamese cats they are more like dogs and are very loyal to one person much like dogs. I had never had a cat before she was a gift from my daughter Johanna.
Cats are good companions they make you laugh they are loveable and I am grateful and thankful for Cleo she waits for me when I am away and is happy when I return she rolls over to be petted. Material things are nice but the love of our pets is endearing they warm our hearts and minds. They really do comfort us.
My 2nd Grateful entry to Debe Maxwell, CRS November Challenge
