Debe Maxwell has challenged us to express our gratitude in the month of November for the things we are so grateful for in our lives. There are so many aspects of our lives we can look at with so much gratitude!
With being in real estate, I haven't had time at home really for a dog, and their needs, and now in my current home, I don't have a fence. Cats work better for my situation living alone, always nice to have companionship.
I previously had 2 kitties (always better when there are two, and they keep each other company), but Aja passed after I moved into my new home. Mia passed last June when she was almost 22 years old! It was only a day and was back at Dumb Friends League searching for the right kitty. I know I needed a kitty, and that playing and looking at no less than ten different kitties. I probably made a hasty choice, as, by December, I returned her to the shelter. She got to where she didn't want anything to do with me, even after I got Lucy, and they got along great. So, in December, I brought home Izzi to keep Lucy company. OH MY, those two are a pair!
They are both just over one year old, but still very much kittens! Lucy is a jumper, and often find her on the railings, or up on the highest shelf in my office. But, she is the most loveable. She either is at my feet under my desk, on the desk, or in the window in my office when I am home and working.
They are so much fun to play with - they run and jump up in the air to catch toys, and often at each other, and collide! They make me laugh all the time.
Don't know what a day would be like without my babies! AND, I don't want to know!
