Veterans Day 2022

George Souto Great tribute to our wonderful Veterans. Beautifully written because of the rain here in Philly many of the events are canceled until Sunday.

Hi George - there a quite a few veterans where I am in Florida.  I will say thanks to them.

Thanks, George Souto. As a Vietnam Era veteran, I want to especially thank you for taking the time to honor those of us who served our country. It means a lot to me. If you don't mind, I will reblog this tribute today.

Those who have served our country did so willingly and without expectation of anything in return.  They did it for the honor of serving the land of opportunity, and to secure the freedoms we enjoy.

Thanks again for your service, George and for recognizing all United States military veterans! Mike and I have dinner at Olive Garden today and they treated us well.

Hi George- well said. Thank you for this post honoring our Veterans. And to echo Jerry Newman this was not always the case after the Vietnam War. The men and women of that war deserve our very special thanks. 

When I was out and about this morning, flags were waving everywhere.  Restaurants, and some businesses were giving special offers to Veterans.  It was good to see.

I missed your Veteran's Day post, George. It was well done. I am not a Vet. I hold those who are in high regard. They have kept our country safe.
