This graph illustrates the number of single family homes sold in El Paso County from January through June for years 2003-2008. 

The number indicated at the top of each stack represents the number of sold homes in the month of June from 2003-2008. 

As depicted in the graph, the highest number of homes sold in 2005 while the number of home sales is significantly lower (so far) in 2008 when looking back to 2003.

Patricia, with the peak in 2005, and 2006 nearly the same the dip was from that point forward. It shows the cyclical nature of housing even over years. 2008 is shaping up so far to be a tough year.

I like your graph.  Here in Sacramento, the number of sales in May was 29.9% more than a year ago for the same month.  However, our prices were down 30% for the same period.

We're apparently working our way through inventory.
