My mother was a Home Economics teacher (do they even have those now?) and she taught kids how to bake, plan menus, make budgets, balance a checkbook and other life skills. I always loved the French bread she made and still make it for my family and friends.
Last Christmas I showed my two older granddaughters how to make French bread and yesterday afternoon I helped Beautiful Beckett make her first two loves!
She loves to bake and she is the one who wants to open a bakery called Miss Queen Bees. At 8 years old she is getting a good start on learning some skills. Love that the tradition from my mother is being carried on with her great-grandkids!
