Hello Roy - while I wasn't a regular visitor to Lakeforest Mall when I was a Washingtonian, I have followed your updates as well as other comings and goings in Montgomery County.   I guess it helps keep me informed about the area.  And it has always interested me.

It's a great idea to share this kind of local information. I find most people don't get involved in rezoning requests but it's great to give them the opportunity. :-)

I suspect a lot of former shopping malls will be going through this process.  I know that here in the Greater Sacramento Region, Sunrise Mall is going through it.  It looks like the land will be rezoned for use as a teaching hospital.
