Life is good if you live in the greater Los Angeles area...

I was reminded today by our friend  Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho   as he sent me a great email with some wonderful photos. Needless to say, they were some Blizzard Photos and he laughed that I was complaining about putting on a sweater and a jacket when the temperatures dropped to the mid-fifties and low sixties as I walked Holly our dog.

Indeed, we have no right to complain about our weather. As I looked out in our backyard and took these photos of our tangerine tree.

Clearly you will agree we have no right to complain. Thank you Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho  reminding me what is important and what is not. Hope you forgive me using your photo.

Now if you are considering coming to Los Angeles, please reach out to me.

I am thankful that I don't live in a place that has blizzards like that.  Those tangerines look good, maybe you can bring me one when we get together next week?

Good morning, Endre... one thing I've learned having lived in many places... New York City, Washington, DC, San Francisco, Boston, Paris, London, Abu Dhabi, Charlotte... is that life can be good where ever you plant your feet and decide it will be good.

I agree with Nina Hollander, Broker 's thought this morning. Life can be good wherever we plant our feet. The tangerine tree would be amazing - just hop outside and pick some fruit. Yum! The snow fall reminds me of warm fires in the fireplace, snowball fights, and walks in the snow. Ahhh. It's all good!

I am envious of the tangerines being so handy for you.  Headed home early yesterday to do some snow blowing and snow removal.  3 hours of wrestling the snowblower.  I have roofs to contend with today in that we have more storms in the immediate future.  Mind you not complaining.  I have always enjoyed hard work and 4 seasons.  I must admit a bit tougher on the ole bod now days though.  lol   Make it a great day Endre.

Hello Endre - the planting of feet as mentioned in the comment by Nina Hollander, Broker is good advice - and it need not be a major feat to accomplish.  However, not doing so can quickly lead to a defeat.  At least in spirit.  It's about a positive outlook on life and a perspective-shift.

Oh my gosh, those tangerines, Endre! Just WOW!

I'm with you, I would much prefer those over the blizzard - any day! I absolutely LOVE where I live and am grateful for the 4 seasons we have. Thankfully we don't have blizzards in Charlotte, NC! Ha!
