On December 1, 2022 the U.S. Census Bureau reported nationwide construction spending lower 0.3% to $1,794.9 billion in October of 2021 from $1,800.1 billion September of 2021, but rose 9.2% from $1,644.3 billion in October of 2021.
Nationwide private construction down 0.5% to $1,420.4 billion in October of 2022 from $1,427.6 billion in September of 2022.
Residential construction decreased 0.3% of $887.2 billion in October of 2022 from $890.0 billion September of 2022.
Non residential construction declined 0.8% to $533.2 billion in October of 2022 from $537.6 billion in September of 2022.
The public construction increased 0.6% to $374.6 billion in October of 2022 from $372.5 billion in September of 2022.
The educational construction higher 0.5% to $79.4 billion in October of 2022 from $79.0 billion in September of 2022.
The highway construction dropped 0.8% to $113.4 billion in October of 2022 from $114.3 billion in September of 2022.
