That's true here too, Grant Schneider There is another tree lighting today in South Carlsbad at The Forum, and several other towns have them this weekend.

Hi Jeff... always a good looking tree in Carlsbad. A tree lighting is always fun to attend. I "grew up" on the lighting of the Rockefeller Center tree and then used to enjoy the lighting of the National Tree in Washington, DC when I was in college... but even the small city ceremonies are quite fun.

I don't think I have ever attended a lighting of a really big tree that I recall, but have seen them on TV Nina Hollander, Broker Some day, perhaps.

It will be! I'm sorry we will miss the actually lighting but we can always stop by to see the tree on the way home or later in the week in the evening. We have attended multiple times and it's always fun.
