Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular: it's the first annual holiday light tour in Ballantyne's Backyard. Explore an outdoor walking trail of a million lights, larger-than-life snow globes, a giant snow tubing slide, a Christmas village and more! Ballantyne's Backyard will turn in a winter wonderland December 12th through 31st. (Free)
Gingerbread Lane at The Ballantyne Hotel: stroll through an enchanting display of gingerbread creations by both professionals and amateurs. Open 11:00 AM till 7:00 PM through December 26th. (Free)
Strolling Holiday Entertainment at Blakeney Town Center: enjoy strolling holiday performers roaming Blakeney Town Center. A variety of entertainers, including stilt walkers, interactive performers, live music, and artists will be strolling and spreading holiday cheer as you complete your holiday shopping. December 17th from 5:00 till 8:00 PM.
Photos with Santa at Blakeney Town Center: visit Santa’s House on the Blakeney Plaza to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus on December 10th (2:00 pm till 6:00 PM) and December18th (3:00 PM till 6:00 PM). Bring your camera to capture the special moment. A $10 donation to the appointed charity at each event date is 
recommended and appreciated.
Stories with Santa and Mrs. Clause at Blakeney Town Center: sing, dance, and read stories with Santa and Mrs. Claus this holiday on the Blakeney Plaza. Guests can also enjoy delicious hot cocoa and cookies! Please donate a toy or make a monetary donation to the participating charity. December 11th (3:00 PM till 5:00 PM) and December 16th (5:00 PM till 7:00 PM).
SLR Ugly Christmas Sweater Run: the SLR Ugly Christmas Sweater Run is back for an 11th year. Find that perfect Ugly Christmas sweater, bring some yummy treats to share, choose your distance... run 12, 3, 5 miles or 465 yards. Sunday, December 18th at 8:00 AM. Location: Toringdon Circle/McMullen Greenway.
Christmas Day Ballantyne Ballroom Buffet: The Ballantyne Hotel will offer an elegant array of curated cuisine and delightful desserts accompanied by live music in the Ballantyne Ballroom. December 25th from 10:30 AM till 4:00 PM. Cost is $95 per person plus tax and service fee and $45 per child ages 12 and under, plus tax and service fee.
