No. 1 Don't - Avoid engaging negative, attention mongers. It creates contemptuous discord. Online reputation matters when attracting consumers and industry longevity means more than hitting sales goals.
Some people, no matter the subject, will claim offense, demean the author or argue vehemently to the point of no return. Maintaining professional composure trumps getting involved in contrived controversy.

That timeless post says it all when combative, rude, obnoxious posters attempt to intimidate by personally attacking or calling names in order to incite an emotional response! Avoid these types at all costs.
No. 2 Don't - Avoid using someone else's content as your own. Unless a person has given express permission to copy/paste, it can be deemed copyright infringement and is basically the theft of intellectual property!
Not only can it cost money, a person's reputation is at stake. Lenn Harley realized some agents were using the maps she had created, in their advertising and marketing. They all paid a fine for their actions.
WARNING: Do Not break copyright laws in order to enhance your business!
No one is entitled to use your property without permission. Activerain Guidelines state that. It's beyond me why some choose to walk that line. Nothing productive is gained, trust is lost.
There are endless advantages of adhering to a higher standard of professionalism while online. Blog with care, no amount of apology can take back some words and thievery is not an acceptable practice either!
