EVERYONE ONE WANTS TO MOVE TO FLORIDA
Florida has been on fire with people coming from all over the Country as well as the World. Why is this happening? Well the climate has always been a factor especially with the elderly who can no longer take the freezing temperatures. But we are seeing new trends like younger people coming and wanting to set up businesses. There has been some businesses relocating. Hertz relocated here from New Jersey not long ago in my area.
The Homestead act which gives you asset protection and lower real estate taxes and no State Income Tax are also big benefits.
Another big issue is the fact that Florida is the freedom State. No China Virus shutdowns, no mask mandates, no vaccine mandates, business is open and people are having fun. No big Government telling you what you can do . This has brought an outflow of people from states like New York.
Lifestyle rules in Florida. Everything is designed for your comfort and Nature, Boating, Tennis, etc... is always an important draw.
if this trend continues, property values will soon rival California and many other high valued areas. Also , hard assets like real estate many people prefer over financial assets and cash right now with all the uncertainty and inflation.
