Every so often I have a need to call current & past clients to say THANK YOU for being great loyal clients. A few years ago I took out some buyers stemming from one of these calls. They have an off-kilter sense of humor like I do, and they pulled a good one on me that day.
We had been in the car for a few hours, and all of us were getting a bit dingy, so nearing the 4 pm mark, I kept hearing some "funny noises", but did not say a word. These sounds would be quite apparent every 10-15 minutes in between homes, and sometimes while we were touring the homes.
I was thinking (to myself) that maybe it was time for them to go home, as these noises were coming more frequently.
On the last home, these buyers were nearing busting a gut laughing, and for the life of me, I had no idea what they were laughing about ---
Well --- they had downloaded this app, and wondered how long it would take me to ask if they needed to use a restroom ----
They did tell me they wanted to "yank on my chain", and see if they could get me, and they did --- really good! I then laughed until I was crying. So glad we all have such a good connection that they felt they could pull a good one on me! BUT, turnabout is fair play, RIGHT?
