This Week…Winter Weather
All good things must come to an end…at least for a while. We began the week with warm temperatures…enough that we could wear shorts. However, the winds are blowing as I write this, and the highs tomorrow will be in the 50s.
No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.
I know…it’s warm compared to other areas but I suppose you could say, it’s all relevant.
What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.
Winter doesn’t officially begin until December 21 but I’m not looking at that. The date that I’m focused on is March 20, 2023…the first day of Spring.
The color of springtime is flowers; the color
of winter is in our imagination.
This week has been a hectic one…I’m sure for everyone. I had projects scheduled each day in preparation for next week but things and people kept interfering.
There’s just something beautiful about walking on snow that nobody else has walked on. It makes you believe you’re special.

And so, a new day begins and I’ll shuffle my plans and schedule to get done what I’d planned to do this week.
Enjoy every minute of your weekend!
Nina Hollander, Broker the furthest north I've lived was in Leesburg VA. I don't want to live any further north than where I am now.
Kathy Streib hi Kathy... having lived in DC for four years, I know that Virginia gets its share of snow.
