I took the leap!

By
Home Stager with Staging Places

After reading Melissa Marro's post on how to fill your calendar I decided to take the leap and write a newsletter. The first addition went out yesterday. I welcome any constructive criticism.

I agree with Kathy!  Great job & I'm so happy to see another budding newsletter writer!  The one suggestion I would have is to try to get more link backs to your website, before and after photos, etc

Thanks for the shout out too.... (btw, there's no "w" in my last name.. lol... don't worry everyone does it!)

Wow - I'm so impressed -- it is really professional looking.  I will have to read Melissa's post and get inspired too.  What software did you use to create this newsletter?  I think the blue type on the black background is hard to read for "aging" eyes.  Who was your distribution and how did you choose to distribute?  Thanks for sharing!

Your newsletter was great.  Very professional.

Did you email it? Who did you send it to?  Past and current clients, builders?

Thanks,

Joyce

Hi everyone, I sent the newsletter out to my Realtor list, class list, old clients, family and friends, basically anyone I thought could benefit from it! I haven't had any responses yet but I have my fingers crossed. Hi Virginia, I'm glad I was able to encourage you! Of course, I think of you as more of a coworker than a competitor, I would be happy to work with you and Marianne!

Congratulations for taking the leap!  It looks very professional.  In a previous job, I was responsible for putting together a monthly 6-page newsletter, and was always striving to fill it up.  I notice there is a large amount of blank space on the right side of the page.  Maybe you could use that space to include more pictures or more tips readers would find useful.  Other than that, it looks GREAT!
