We are very lucky to have a proactive police chief who looks out for our citizens. My favorite tip is taking a group photo before the event in case descriptions are needed.

Crowded venues can be a safe and enjoyable place to be, but it is important that everyone follows the rules of conduct. In crowded areas, you should never leave your belongings unattended or in someone else's care. You should also not take your wallet, phone or any type of electronic device out of your pocket or bag. If you must leave your belongings behind, make sure they are secure and covered with a jacket or sweater. Call crime scene cleanup experts if you see any crime. The best way to avoid being robbed is by keeping yourself aware of your surroundings at all times. Make sure you know who's around you before going anywhere. If you see suspicious activity, call 9-1-1 immediately.
